In Bloom

Our little veggie plants and flowers are growing up. Yay!
Now if only we could keep Layla out of there...

Shipping to Canada, eh? And Everywhere Else? Absolutely!

Just a quick update to let you guys know that I have updated every single listing in my shop to reflect international shipping!  It was quite a task you know. But I love you guys so it's worth it. ;)

So now, instead of sending me a convo on Etsy, all you have to do is look down at the bottom of the listing! And it was all prompted by a sale from one of our neighbors to the north.

And, speaking of shipping, look for a shop announcement on July 1. Happy Monday, all!

An Evening in Clifton

It was a relaxing evening last night as we got some pizza at Dewey's and then walked around Clifton for a little bit. That town definitely has some character. We will visit again I'm sure.

Butterfly Show results

So, about a month ago I told you guys about the awesome Butterfly Show at the Krohn Conservatory here in Cincinnati. It was a really neat experience. Unfortunately, none of the photos I entered in the contest were winning entries but I thought I would post the results for you guys anyway, just in case you were interested. Personally, I think mine (like the one below) were way better, but that's just me. ;) There's always next year!

Naptime Noses

They're so cute when they're sleeping (and not getting into mischief).

Random Thoughts From The Clouds

There were lots of weird cloud formations yesterday before we had our huge string of thunderstorms last night. This is just one that I happened to capture. It doesn't quite do it justice but you get the jist of it. As a result of the storm last night, this happened and lots of people are commenting on it.

From The Clouds also happens to be one my favorite songs off of the new Jack Johnson cd To The Sea along with "Red Wine, Mistakes, Mythology" and "When I Look Up" (really wish that one was longer).

Speaking of music, yesterday I read an interesting article in the recent issue of Rolling Stone magazine about Jay-Z. If you like Jay-Z you should check it out.

And this is in no way related to clouds or music -- well maybe it's related to clouds, but I've had an increasing urge to buy an antique-ish camera and shoot film. As always, feedback is welcomed.

MIA with some R&R

I know it's been a while since I posted something in Blogland but honestly, I needed a break. I had so much going on with work, and just life in general, that I had to give myself some space. Tim and I have both been stressed at work for the past month or so and last week we started really making it a priority to get out and DO something about it. We found out about a nearby "escape" and have been there twice already. Being that I used to live in Hawaii and REALLY miss the beach being close by, I was desperately yearning for a body of water to be close to for some R&R. Luckily we found out about Brookeville Lake in Indiana and have been able to take advantage of the fact that it's only a 45-minute drive from our house. Pure bliss.
I promise to keep you guys updated more often now that I have had a little breather and will catch you up on all the new items posted in the shop. (Be sure to check out the two or three new photos I just posted over the weekend!) Lots of exciting things are developing in the near future, don't go too far!
